Our Story

Founded in 2016, PiratcesWCap began with a simple vision: to create a platform where exceptional photography could be discovered, appreciated, and collected by art enthusiasts worldwide. Our founder, Emily Reynolds, a passionate photographer herself, recognized the need for a dedicated space where both professional and amateur photographers could showcase their work to a global audience.

What started as a small online gallery with works from just 20 local photographers has now evolved into a thriving global community connecting over 10,000 photographers from 120+ countries with collectors and art lovers around the world.

Our name, PiratcesWCap, represents our commitment to capturing and preserving precious moments through the lens – creating windows into different worlds, perspectives, and emotions that can be shared across borders and cultures.

Our Mission

At PiratcesWCap, our mission is to democratize access to exceptional photography while ensuring that photographers receive fair compensation for their creative work. We believe that beautiful, thought-provoking imagery has the power to inspire, educate, and transform spaces and lives.

Through our careful curation process, we aim to bring the highest quality photographic art to collectors of all experience levels, from first-time buyers to seasoned collectors, while providing photographers with a respected platform to showcase their talent and vision.
